Driving Miss Daisy  (1989)

I thought Morgan Freeman was really good in this.  While he’s a good actor it’s not often you see him play a role that’s particularly different from his usual.  

I loved the fact that they’d put so much attention to detail into recreating the 1940s-60s, and then gave the whole thing a really ’80s-sounding score that kind of undermined the whole thing.
