Midnight Cowboy  (1969)

Man, renting a film when you have no idea what it’s about can really lead to some surprises.

One thing that wasn’t a surprise though:  Dustin Hoffman did some top-notch acting. Every one of his films I see raises my opinion of him to further dizzying heights.
